Kea

The Kea, made by TwinNeedle in Christchurch, is the smaller sibling of the Tuke and has been designed to be as versatile as possible with Hikers, Trampers, and Alpinists in mind. The size (33L for Medium or 36L for Large) is perfect for long day trips or weight-conscious overnighters.
 
The Kea features the same Pouch Attachment Ladder (PAL) system as the Tuke, so it works with the same optional front volume pockets and gives you options to customise the layout of your bungee cord and alloy toggles for ice tools.
 
Side compression straps keep walking poles, snow stakes, or extra clothing stashed securely. The single top strap with alloy hook buckle serves as an extra load compression strap for attaching ropes, crampons, or jackets on top of the pack.
 
The simple rugged zip opening allows for easy gear access, and you’ll find a small zip pocket in the top flap for small items to be stored.
