We were up there on the 1st of December, and I think there was a bit less snow on Moir’s Mate than it looks like in that photo – we didn’t touch any snow.
Still wide and low reaching snow coverage. Snow down to 1300, well below Black Lake. North Face of Barrier Knob very streaky with small ledges of snowmelt.
N and NE face of Barrier Knob on the 22nd November (day after a storm). Too wet and snowy to climb. Another few days of clear weather and it probably would’ve been fine on some routes.
